Out in the vast remote expanse of the Simanjiro Plains in central Tanzania, there is a group of Maasai who sing. At night, when the cows have come home, and the bomas are closed up, the chores are done and quiet has descended, people gather to sing. They sing hope to their people – songs about HIV/AIDS, songs about womens’ rights, songs about education, songs about clean water. This is their story – presented so that you can share in their lives.
But that’s not all. This book is also your way to help them with their dream of building a school in their community. 60% of the proceeds from the sale of this book go directly into a fund for construction of the school.
